Expertos de Europa, EEUU y Asia debaten en Madrid sobre el futuro de innovación en biotecnología y biomedicina

La Consejería de Sanidad de la Comunidad de Madrid celebró el 25 de junio, el Biomedical Innovation Summit, organizado por Effectia. Un encuentro internacional de innovación biomédica para conectar a los agentes de transferencia de tecnología, investigadores y empresarios con actividad en los sectores de biomedicina, biotecnología y salud digital; con inversores, ejecutivos de la industria, expertos en propiedad intelectual y transferencia de tecnología.

En esta edición participaron 22 expertos de Europa, EE. UU. y Asia; y hubo más de 250 asistentes inscritos.

El encuentro contó con la presencia de ponentes internacionales como Hoyoung Huh, MD PhD, foundador y CEO de la empresa estadounidense PH Pharma (www.ph-pharma.com), Steve Ferguson, director de la Oficina de Transferencia del Instituto Nacional de Salud de Estados Unidos y Vibhu Sachdev, de la Universidad de Rockefeller, Vince Smeraglia, Director ejecutivo de la Oficina de Comercialización de la americana Universidad de Rutgers, entre muchos otros.

Announcing the 2019 Madrid edition of the TTS Europe.

The TTS Europe 2019 will take place at the Fundación Canal de Isabel II on 25 June 2019.

Following successful European summits in venues such as Paris, Strasbourg, London, Barcelona, Edinburg and more, and US and international summits at the NIH, as well as in San Francisco, New Jersey, New York, Chicago, Toronto, Miami, Melbourne, Brisbane, Singapore, Saint Petersburg, Latin America and more, the TTS Global Initiative is coming to Madrid for the first time.

Organized at the request of Host Partners the Consejería de Sanidad de Madrid (Ministry of Health of Madrid) to support early-stage health and bio sector innovation stakeholders including hospital, clinic and university technology transfer and licensing offices, innovative and entrepreneurial clinicians and researchers, early-stage and growth bio sector companies, this edition is jointly organized by the TTS Global Initiative (TTS Ltd.) and Effectia Consulting.

The focus will as always be on all aspects crucial to early-stage health biotech sector innovation, from innovation policy and building a culture of innovation, to technology transfer and licensing, start-up, spin-off, entrepreneurship, strategic business development, industry partnering, venture capital, intellectual property, and bringing together all of the key stakeholder groups for exceptional networking, learning, business development, relationship building, debate and deliberation.

This edition includes a specific focus not only on biopharma and drug development, but on medical devices, diagnostics, instruments, digital health, telemedicine, artificial intelligence and health technologies.

Announcing the 3rd annual TTS Latin America.

3-4 October 2018, Santiago de Chile, Chile

The TTS Global Initiative is pleased to announce the 3rd annual TTS Latin America. Following successful editions in Medellín and Miami, this year’s TTS Latin America moves to the Southern end of the continent and will take place on 3 and 4 October in Santiago de Chile.

Organized by the TTS Global Initiative and our Chilean Host Partners, the Universidad de los Andesand their Dirección de Innovación, Oficina de Transferencia Tecnología, CORFO (Chilean Economic Development Agency), and the three Chilean technology transfer HUBs:

Who will be there? The innovation, technology transfer and spinout teams from the 3 Chilean technology transfer hubs and all of the top Chilean research institutes and universities will come together with their peers from across the key biotech innovation markets in Latin America and leading international technology transfer experts, entrepreneurs, industry partners and investors from the USA, Europe and Latin America.
